Objective: Survive 16 waves
Focus towers are the key to completing this level. You’re main enemy in this level is going to be the squids. The squids freeze nearby towers when hit so you’ll need a number of focus towers spaced out throughout the level so you’ll still be able to attack even if some of your towers are frozen.
Start by building focus towers in a “stair” formation.
I also built a scout tower at the top. You may need this in the early levels should your focus towers be frozen out.
Keep building focus towers. Try and spread them out a little
The longer a focus tower zaps an enemy, then the more damage it inflicts. By building lots of focus towers you’ll be able to have them target the enemies on the final wave.

I’ve noticed that you do not get the focus tower until the E levels. I’ll re-do this level only using the defaulted towers. I’ll send you a message when it’s done.

There have been updates, but not to the main campaign levels. The blog is a “work in progress” and I’m still getting round to adding every level. When I first posted the solution to E8. RAVEN I never thought that the blog would be so popular. It’s great to know that you’re getting some good use out of it.
As for the updates, my iPhone is a little poorly and the moment and it’s not creating screen shots. I’ve had to resort to use my wife’s phone when she’s not using it…. that said, I’m committed to completing all the levels on hard, then adding video solutions. It just might take me a little longer than what it otherwise would have done.

If you don’t mind Rob, i think a better way to finish this on Normal or Hard is to have the Focus Towers 1×1 block away from the path, this way the enemies that explode and stun your towers cannot actually reach the Focus Towers.

I places splash towers where the first outside staircase of focus towers are in your picture. And have three to four scout towers two spaces away from the road completely upgraded. On the outside also two spaces away put one laser tower, then inside the stairs put another laser further up on screen. Put three slow towers at the entrance of the road, upgrade only one. Close to the end of the road, not too close to your base, put another scout tower and a cannon tower. Upgrade all scout towers, upgrade splash towers once, upgrade the cannon tower completely and upgrade one laser tower. I beat it in one try(:

Put splash towers where the outside staircase of focus towers are. Upgrade them all once. Two spaces away from the road on the inside of the stairway put three or four scout towers, upgrade completely. Put two laser towers down, one on the outside and one on the inside (both two spaces away from the road). Upgrade the outside laser tower once. Put three slow towers at the entrance of the road, upgrade only one. Put one scout and one cannon tower close to the base and upgrade completely. (don’t have them too close to the base because some can slip through.) And put one slow tower at the very top of the road!

You can’t afford focus towers on the hard level. This level actually does not require any of the more advanced towers. Properly placed scout, cannon, splash and slow towers are sufficient to beat this. Upgraded slow tower is only required at a later stage, when all your towers are fully upgraded & you get the juggernaut wave.
