Objective: Stockpile 3000 resources
Laser towers cannot harm the pink blobs. But they can target them an fire at them as if they were able to cause harm. This level can be completed on hard by using this principle.
Start by placing a laser tower in the centre of the gap in middle of the blobs. Then target the pink blob to the left of the laser tower. The laser tower will then rapidly fire down the main line where then enemies enter the level.
As soon as you can, upgrade the laser tower. During this phase you may need to temporarily stop targeting the pink blob. This will be needed for you to eliminate three enemies which are able to get through.
Next, upgrade the laser tower to it’s maximum strength.
Build a cannon tower as shown below. You can use this tower to destroy the pink blob to the right of the laser tower. Next it’s all about timing. When you can eliminate the blob to the right of your laser tower. You made need to attack the tower over two separate waves. Once you’ve taken out this blob then make sure that you again target the blob to the left your laser tower.
Once you’ve taken out this blob, then you should build another laser tower and fully upgrade it.
Build slow towers where the enemies enter the level. This will help slow them down so the laser towers are able to get more shots off on them and cause them greater damage.
As the objective of this level is to stockpile 3000 resources, you need to start collecting them. Do this by building generators on the pink mist on the bottom right of the map.
Build 9 generators and start collecting resources.
Build more slow towers and start upgrading them.
If you find that enemies are still getting through past the laser towers then you should build a couple of splash towers as I’ve done. These will stop all enemies from getting by.

your strategy can’t get a gold star on any difficulty setting. Impossible. The game won’t let it happen. Something always gets through. This is bullshit designing a level that’s impossible to get a gold star in. I’ve tried everything I can think of for this level including your strategy. The designers for this suck.

Gold Star? What are you talking about?

The strategy works perfectly for me. If something get through in the beginning, just uncheck the pink rock and let the laser kill the leftover. Simple as that. Thanks for the nice guide!

I just completed this level on hard. All lives left, “gold star”. Sorry but I don’t think that they hired themself a shitty designer.. Start out with two laser towers shooting at the rock, and build all generators. Then I placed two slow tower to the far left. Inbetween them a cannon tower and behind that on a splash tower. Then after the corridor of death I placed a cannon tower and a splash tower. In the end beside the base I place another cannon tower. Done!

i got the gold star using the strategy above…

I put my lasers farther back where the game suggests in the tip just before this level. This made it easier to destroy all the pink rocks for the medal. A word of caution: those lasers are doing a lot of damage to enemies. Be sure when you destroy the rock they are targeting that you have enough other towers to destroy the enemies without them. You will need towers on about the whole path to do this.

If you think it is too difficult that way (I’m having trouble with the extra achievements like killing all rocks, for example) spend some of the money on splash towers all over the place. You’ll get to a point where the two max upgraded towers + slow towers will kill most units, and the splash towers will be a bonus.
I am actually having an issue where my phone will overheat on the level xD

My hypothesis for the achievements is to have splash towers over the entire map, and once you are done building where there is space, you destroy one rock at a time. Takes a really long time though.

Even with your strategy, it still seems impossible for me to keep a perfect 8 lives. I even added multiple canons and slow towers, but a few still managed to get in..

I am having difficulty achieving ‘destroying all rocks’ badge. Even though I think I have destroyed all rocks, I still don’t get that badge. Is the big rock towards the top left destroyable? I tried destroying that but it can’t be selected as a target (at least for the long range tower).
Anyone experiencing the same?

I wasted many hours before I went online to find this tip on the two laser towers, so thanks!. I can’t believe the clue was in the screen shot of the level itself. I noticed that the more you go overboard setting up elaborate killing corridors the higher the likelihood you wind up with all lives lost. Vast overkill firepower all over the grid (very tempting!!!) will lose you this game (obviously I did not try to destroy all rocks); against all odds plenty of space beasties will get through (well 8 of them anyway). A sensible rather minimalistic setup (aside from the two lasers) of slow towers at the left to optimize the laser efficiency, a slow tower and splash + 2 cannons & early bird scout tower near the end + and a cannon (the first in use) at the top of the vertical road at the right should do the trick. Don’t postpone stockpiling resources for too long and stop fortifying (overkill style) asap.. As has been commented above, once you know how to get going this level is rather easy, ignorant of the two laser solution I think this level is _impossible_ to finish! Note: the Android version has the annoying earth quake tab at bottom right covering two resources grid cells, one of them is impossible to select (10 inch tablet). Starting fresh from the menu all grid cells are uncovered, but later on that tab gets in the way. Very annoying. At the end of the day you don’t need all resource machines to finish the level. So remember for this level (non-medal approach) less is probably more. Good luck.
